OoSo Studio is a cooperative founded by Ixchel Lunar and Jaimey Walking Bear. It exists because the infrastructure we needed didn’t. So we built it.
OoSo Studio grew from Ixchel’s personal practice: a second brain for content, cosmology, and client work on one machine, off the cloud, out of the extraction economy. Ixchel built the architecture that makes it structurally sound, and we ran it ourselves for some months before we offered it to anyone else.
That is still how we build.

What this means for your data
Most tools blur all your data together under one vague privacy policy and call that transparency. We separate it by architecture, because the architecture is the protection.
Your body of work lives on your machine.
Your essays, frameworks, client notes, archive. Plain text on your own hard drive, structured in Obsidian. We never see it. We never touch it. The co-author reads it locally. It belongs to you in the most literal sense: we could disappear tomorrow and your Studio keeps working.
Your performance data lives in France.
When OoSo Studio pulls signal from your social accounts, ad platforms, GA4, and CRM, that data needs a home that isn’t your hard drive. It lives on Clever Cloud servers in France.
France is the country that just ended its Palantir contracts. Palantir built its business on surveillance infrastructure for ICE, predictive policing, and military targeting. France looked at that and said no. We are building on the infrastructure of that refusal.
Your performance data is protected under GDPR standards, extended to every member regardless of where they live. Not because we are required to. Because it is right.
You can download all of it whenever you want. You can ask us to delete it whenever you want, and we finish deletion within 7 days. This data serves your Studio and nothing else: it does not train our models, improve our product, or leave your account.
Your AI model is yours.
You bring your own key, your own account, no markup. Claude is our recommendation to start with for ease. Gemini, Perplexity, and Ollama are fully supported. Ollama runs open models locally on your own machine if you want to stay entirely off the cloud. We do not sit between you and your co-author.
Where we are building
OoSo Studio members shape the product roadmap, directly. That is not a feedback form. It is governance.
OoSo Studio is building toward formal cooperative incorporation, member voting rights, and patronage dividends on a Mondragon and REI-informed model. We will tell you honestly where we are in that process.
What we can tell you now: no outside investors, no acquisition path, no IPO. The people inside this system are the people it exists to serve.
